Volkswagen has announced specific details about the latest edition of the Volkswagen Golf GTI - Golf GTI Edition 35 - which celebrates the 35th anniversary of the original hot hatch.

New Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 35 offers enhanced 25PS, 235PS development, the most powerful production Golf GTI to date.

Since the debut of the original Volkswagen Golf GTI in 1976, GTI has gained cult appeal, and an independent brand and GTI milestone anniversary, celebrated with a special model.

And increased power, the new Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 35 features a special design elements created for the model. A revised front bumper and 18-inch light alloy wheels to be seen on the exterior, while interior look back to the golf ball gearknob. Signature of '35 'appears at the front wing, plate threshold, barring the head and the middle panel chair.

Orders in the UK for the Volkswagen Golf GTI Edition 35 will open later this year, with full UK pricing and specification which was released in time.
